I can truly say that these two wonderful, loving, and adorable kids are what I live for each and every day. They mean everything to me and really are my whole world. They are what makes me smile each and every day. I am truly blessed to have Rylee and Dax in my life. Each day both Brett and I are thankful that we were blessed with two happy and healthy little kids that love to smile and play and that love their mommy and daddy with all of their hearts.

~Sun, Sand & Water...Lake Powell~

Sand in my swimsuit,

Sand in my hair,

When I go to the beach

Sand gets everywhere!

I wonder, I wonder,

Oh, how can there be

Sand left at the beach

When there's so much on me?

Over the 24th of July weekend we went to Lake Powell and camped out on Lone Rock Beach in tents. We camped for 4 days and 3 nights with Cody, Amy, Ryker and Keagan Boyce. Rylee had been sick the whole week leading up to us leaving and still wasn't 100% when we left, so we kept hoping her antibiotic would take over and do its job soon since she had been on it for about 5-7 days at the time. Once we got there you would not have known she wasn't feeling the best. And after the first day there she had no more fever and was doing really great. We were also a little concerned about the weather because it showed there would be isolated thunderstorms the entire time we were there.
We were so glad we chose to go because Rylee ended up being well and the weather was PERFECT. We could not have asked for better weather and both kids were loving it. It was so nice and relaxing. Dax played in the sand like it was the best thing ever. I am sure it felt like the worlds largest sand box and he was placed right in the middle of it. He was loving everything about that.
Our trip did start off a little rocky. We had planned to go Thursday but then we decided to wait until Friday to give Rylee one more day of rest and my sister ended up having her baby on Thursday. So I went to Provo to see the baby and my sister and on the way back my car broke down. So I got home late and still had to get stuff ready for Powell. Then we got to Powell and went to set up the tent and the poles weren't in the bag, so we had to run into Paige, AZ and buy a new tent. I was starting to wonder if this was all a sign we should have stayed home.
All I can say now is that I am SO glad we went. Every one of us had the best time. It was so relaxing for even me. The kids played so good. Dax would go to the edge of the water where the water was barely touching his feet, but that was it. So I didn't have to worry about being right next to him the entire time. I could actually sit down and watch them play. It was nice!
Rylee loved just walking around and finding seashells and then making sand castles and decorating it with shells. She ended up with so many shells that we don't even know what to do with. She plays so well with both Ryker and Keagan and they all had so much fun together. Both her and Dax absolutely love going for rides on the sea-doo's. Both kids did so well going to bed at night in the tent. It worked out perfect.
One of the days we took the kids to the sand hill to climb and play. That hill is SO huge that none of us adults climbed it, we chose to watch the kids from the bottom. The sand there is so soft and clean. Its amazing.
Unfortunately my camera only lasted about a day and a half and then it died. I forgot to charge it before leaving. I did get a lot of pictures still, but wasn't able to get one of me and Brett or all of us before it went dead. The one of Rylee by the sunset was the last one I snapped and then it shut off. I did take a few more with Brett's cell phone, so trust me, there is still going to be a picture overload of our vacation.
This was Dax's first time to Lake Powell and I can definitely say that he LOVED it. I have to say I have two of the cutest little beach bums for kids. I love them so much! We loved splashing in the water, soaking up the sun, and sifting through the sand. What a great family vacation!!!

Londyn Maysa Noyes

On July 22, 2010, my sweet, precious, adorable, strong, and beautiful little niece was born. My sister Andrea had some problems with toxemia and after finding fluid around Andrea's heart and lungs they decided it was time to take the baby. They didn't have to do much....it was obvious that her body was saying it was time to have this baby. They gave her the pills to soften her cervix and her water broke on its own. She dilated very fast from there.

At 10:18 a.m. on July 22, 2010, Londyn Maysa Noyes was born. She weighed in at 3 lbs. 13 oz. and 16 inches long. She was 5.5 weeks early, but was doing great. She was breathing on her own immediately when she was born and has been ever since. At first she had an IV and feeding tube, but after about a week she only had the feeding tube in her. She is such a cutie and so adorable. I went and saw her the day she was born and again when she was 8 days old. This last time I went to see her she was seriously pulling the most adorable faces; from huge grins to little pouty faces, sticking her tongue out, yawning, just the cutest faces ever. I told Andrea that I could not believe how much she smiles, its amazing. She definitely lights up the room and is one strong little girl. The nurses let us hold her up to the window for Rylee to see. Rylee kept saying she is so tiny, like her doll. She was excited to see her new little cousin.

I cannot wait for her to come home so I can take some pictures of this precious little girl.

10 Year Class Reunion....

On July 12, 2010, I went to the Class of 2000's 10 year reunion. At first I wasn't so sure I wanted to go. We never did have a 5 year and I was sort of thinking that the people I really cared to see I have either kept in touch with or have seen or spoke with on facebook. But then Brett and I thought we might as well go and since it was at a park, we planned to take the kids with also. As it got closer we sort of forgot about the whole thing and planned a trip to Provo to go shopping. When the day came and Dax wasn't feeling well, we decided against the Provo trip and decided we would just stay home all together.

The reunion was suppose to start at 6 pm and at about 5:30 pm Shauni had text me asking if I was going to the reunion. I told her probably not. Then at 6pm she text me saying she was just getting to her parents and wouldn't get to the reunion until at least 6:15 pm. I started thinking that maybe I should just go so I won't regret it. A lot of the friends I do still keep in touch with were all going to be there, so I thought it would be fun for us to all get together at the same time. I was sitting there feeding Dax and Brett said if I wanted to go I could just run over and he would sit with the kids since Rylee was asleep and Dax wasn't feeling well. A few minutes later, at 6pm, while I was feeding Dax, Kimberlie also text me asking if I decided to go and I said no. She also said she wasn't going. Then she text me saying, I guess we could still go. I said, let's do it! I was just thinking how I would really regret not going if I just sat home and didn't go. So I hopped in the truck without even having any time to change or fix myself and headed to the Redmond Park for our 10 year class reunion.

Even though there was only 15 of us that showed up and some spouses and kids, it was really nice to see the few people that did come and see what they were doing and how they have changed. We got some cute pictures with friends. It was nice having the bunch of us girls together at the same time.

~Yuba Lake~

Its summertime and what better way to spend it than near the water, the sand, and best of all FAMILY! We love going to the lake, playing on the sea-doo's, in the boat, the sand and just having a great time with family and friends.

On July 18th, our family and Rick and Judi all met up with Sam, Lennette, Cruz, Savanah and their little friends at Yuba Lake. We met at the North shore, which we love because its more like a beach over there with the soft sand for the kids to play in. I love that you can walk around the whole time without shoes and not step on anything. This time we let Rylee take her cousins Jayde and Jayslin with. They rarely go to lakes and have never rode on a sea-doo, so this was a bit of a new experience for them and they absolutely loved it and had such a great time.

Rick and Judi brought their boat, we brought out the sea-doo's, and everyone had such a fun time together. The kids splashed and swam in the water, rode the wakeboard and tube, built sand castles, and everyone enjoyed just spending a day together in the sun having fun!
