Video of the dances...

I decided that in addition to the previous pictures, I would also post some videos of both Rylee & Savanah's dances... In Rylee's video she is the 2nd to last one on the far side. In Savanah's she is in the front and about middle of the row, in green, and has her hair up high and curly...she is the tiny blonde one.

Dance Performance....

Today was Rylee's very first dance performance ever and she was super excited. She has been waiting for this day to come for a very long time. She just couldn't wait until the day she would get to dance in her cute yellow dress. She even got to wear make-up, which she thought was pretty neat.
Once we got her hair up, her make-up on, and her outfit on...she looked SO stinkin' cute. Brett & I could not wait to see her out there doing her cute dance. She was so brave, even after seeing the huge crowd of people, she was still excited to go out with her friends and dance.
It's amazing how proud it can make you feel just watching them learn something new and then performing it for you. Every time I see her learn something new it makes me so proud, but to see her up there was so much fun!
My niece, Savanah, also performed today. She is in a hip-hop class and did amazing. She is very talented. Rylee thought it was really neat being able to have Savanah watch her and then to also watch Savanah afterwards. Her grandma & papa even came to watch. She thought that was pretty neat...and afterwards she did not want them to go home. There was a few tears!

Picture Fun...

Lately I have been taking as many cute pictures of the kids as I can. One reason is because I want to get as many of those cute baby poses as I can before Dax gets big, and because they are just both so dang cute that I cannot help but take pictures of them all the time. Brett was even nice enough to play along with my little photography session and I got some really cute pictures of him and Dax together. And even though I don't have a program with all the cute editing tools, I have made a few cute collages of the kids....

Thank You Shauni....

Recently I decided I wanted to take some pictures of the kids both inside and outside. Its almost Mothers Day, so I thought it would be a perfect time and excuse to take some cute pictures of the kids outside. I absolutely LOVE taking pictures. I don't think there is one day that I don't get my camera out a snap a few shots. I can't help myself. I love photography....but as much as I love it, I still haven't bought a really nice camera. I just have your regular small digital camera. Nothing fancy.
Then I remembered that my wonderful friend Shauni had once offered to edit pictures for me if I wanted her to. I figured if I can't have her take the pictures for me, the next best thing is to have her edit them for me. So I thought this was a perfect chance to take advantage of that offer....and boy did I take advantage. I sent that poor girl so many pictures and she did such a great job. She made them all so cute. Honestly, there was not one that she did that wasn't cute...so now I have to pick a few of my favorites to post.
So Shauni, I wanted to say thanks again for doing this for me and so quickly. You are such a great friend!

This one I think may be my VERY favorite...

Our Lil' Dancer...

Rylee just started dance the beginning of April and she loves it. She started the class a lot later than all the other girls, but I think she has caught on pretty fast. I recorded their practice this week and wanted to post it for the other girls parents to see. This was the first practice that they did the dance without their teacher actually doing it with them. I think they did very well. Good Job Girls!!! We can't wait for their first performance in two weeks.
